Well, now that I'm out of my parent's house I could actually play this without worrying about my Dad making fun of me...
Would you guys recommend this for someone who is new to fighting games? I've had this interest in them lately and I heard Skullgirls has a good tutorial mode.

It is probably the best fighting game for players new to the genre since it teaches you both basic specific game mechanics and basic fighting game mechanics.
