Upgraded my craptop to Windows 7, can't wirelessly connect to internet

I upgraded my old 2003 Laptop to Windows 7 because I can, and now I can't appear to get it on the internet. I am currently looking to connect wirelessly to my router as I did before, but this doesn't seem to be working. It doesn't seem to be detecting my wireless thing? It's built in, I'm not sure. It's an IBM thinkpad if that somehow helps.

Ah figured it out, have to get drivers for my wireless card. Duh.
If the wifi isn't working with the default win7 drivers, good luck finding third party ones that work.
Thinkpads use a special wifi card, and I plugged in my thing wired and windows actually found the drivers. I found the drivers on a website too, but it was very nice of windows to find them for me!
you may want to use the drivers from the manufacturers website, as drivers from windows update can have problems, or be out of date, but if you're happy with the ones that were automatically installed, then don't bother.
Damn now I need to get the sound to work. Eh I'll tackle that later.
