• Xbox 360 RROD - Can't find shipping label
    15 replies, posted
Hello, for the second time I have gotten the red ring... The first time they sent me a box and we shipped it off. Now, however, they don't do that. So easy enough I registered my console online and requested a repair. Packed up my 360 and I'm ready to go. Wait, I need a shipping label. They sent me an email regarding my service number etc... Still no label. So I end up here, http://support.xbox.com/support/en/us/nxe/registerdevice.aspx?step=status And it says to "Go to the Check Repair Status page and sign in using your Windows Live ID. Click Check Repair Status. Click Print Shipping Label and Instructions." But I see no link Any help?
Put it in the oven. :neckbeard:
But then I can't bake any delicious pies!
Replace red leds with green leds, and you're good to go.
Call them up and ask them to send you one.
I just ask them for an electronic shipping label to be sent to my email? I'd rather do that than wait for one in the mail.
Your warranty ran out....
it's extended for RROD
What happens when you click "Read the packing instructions"?
What happens when you click "Read the packing instructions"?
it brings up packing instructions there is no label there. Im on the phone with them right now so hopefully I can get 1 sent to me. Edit: wow its taking so long
That's customer "support" for you. I had a simple Windows Server issue. They wanted $300 from me.
They told me it would be 2 mins to connect to a "specialist", it's been 9. I don't see why they would need a specialist for a simple e-label sent to me. This just spells "FUN". Ok it's been almost 30 mins, I hope I'm almost done. EDIT: WOOOO! I'm done.
Should of toweled it, I did it yesterday, giving me an excuse to set it up on my family BIG hdtv.
Where do you go to request they send you a box? Mine got messed up the other day (brother knocked it off my desk) and I wanna send it in but forget where to go...
fix it yourself for real... Mine got the E74 error a month ago so I stripped it down the the mother bored, took a heat gun to the mother bored, replaced the X clamps with bolts, washers, and nuts, and put new thermal paste on the heatsinks. I put it all back together but I left the top of the case off so it can breath. I used it everyday for the past month and I have had ZERO problems with it at all. Your warrentee is out anyways so its worth a try, it cost a whole 5 bucks USD. Follow the heat gun method in this video, its exactly what I did with mine along with the listed above.
