This game is pretty dope so far, but holy shit the story is weak as hell so far. Like, by the time DR3 takes place the US has been dealing with zombies for several years, so I think they'd get used to all the zombie death. So like, all of the "oh no... How tragic..." Feels SUPER off. Story aside, the gameplay's pretty fun.

well I mean, I can watch the news about dudes getting eviscerated and being mauled to death all day, but its kind of traumatizing to see someone in person.
I watched a TB video in which he said it runs like square wheels made of steel when the textures are in 1080p.

Nothing's as good as a previous game but the main crime is that it's been so long since the previous. 10 years is a long time.
This game is super fun to play, but it runs like complete ass. I only manage sub-30 fps most of the time and I'm slightly above the recommended specs, running on the High preset.
I watched a TB video in which he said it runs like square wheels made of steel when the textures are in 1080p.
when the textures are in what you mean when the "game quality" (internal render resolution) is set to either 1080p or full? Then the results are mixed, but for most people the game maxes out both the cpu and gpu regardless. Does he actually say that in those words?

I updated my drivers and the game runs much better, still kind of lackluster, but 15-25 FPS is much better than 1-3 running down the street with a broadsword and daisy dukes smacking zombies around, screaming FOOOR THE OOOORDEEEER!
Despite the problems I'm having with the game at the moment it's pretty fun. Like, holy shit, you can get the blue chainsaws from DR1 as part of a side mission. If you encounter a guy called Ravi who wants to make a weapon out of a meat cleaver and a regular chainsaw, that's the guy who gives you the small chainsaws. I've got the game running at the 30fps cap along with a wired Xbox controller enabled. Its running at medium settings.
