I think that religion all started from aliens. Most religions depict a figure from the sky. If you think about it, aliens come from the sky, they give you whatever, technology, ideas, etc... Time doesn't move at a linear speed, but rather it speeds up and slows down slightly. We don't notice it but that's the reason we feel that there are "slow" days and "fast" days.

Also, there's a civilization of invisible, silent, odorless aliens that are everywhere. They are studying us constantly and are trained never to get close enough to touch you. There are always there though, they are always watching and you'll never know where exactly they are.
