• Filters at schools

Anyone know how I could get past the Bess filter? At my school the computers use IE and I tried Internet Options-Privacy-Lan Settings- and then proxy settings and it seems to use bess AS the proxy server. When I remove that from the field or disable filters the Internet does not connect. Any help FP? Edit: If I can't get past it, are there any good free games I can load onto my flash drive to play on the HPs here? Preferably runnable in windowed mode and able to run on HP minis or other basic normal sized laptops I can't remember the name of.
Proxy server or use firefox [editline]06:43PM[/editline] Or wait until you get home for teh pr0nz
Do work in school. Play games at home.
We did used to download the games and then run the flash files at school so we could play them without even going on the internet. Then one angry IT technician saw us playing these games and uninstalled flash player off every computer, but we needed flash player for half of the school work anyway, so everything is messed right now.

SSH tunnel to your home server or a unix shell
OR just put flash or whatever you need and all the games on a jump drive. :downs:
My school has 2 filters, not all proxies are blocked. Try some more, one's bound to be unblocked.
For games, use U3 on usb Drives
The Powder Toy is a good time waster. Also, my school might think that they have all good websites blocked, but i can still go on garrysmod.com.
