Exciting!
Boolome This is my favorite RTS of all-time, spent so much time in the editor. Would be a shame if it wasn't included. Also taugth me how to pronounce Hoplite.
I would at least assume Extended Edition, along with the picture of Kronos means that it includes the Titans expansion by default. Can't wait to get it again!
The most fun RTS game I have ever played, I spent so much time playing this game. I'm not even certain why I stopped.
This was the most fun RTS I've ever played. It needs to come soon.
I've remember playing the demo a long time ago but never got the full game, I'll likely get this at some point so i can finally play it. I hope Rise of Nations gets something like this as well.
I seriously can't wait. My most beloved RTS game in a remake!
I've never actually played the game until a year ago, I played one match against a friend but it wasn't that great to be honest. Although I'm looking forward to see if I will enjoy the game eventually.
It's not hop-light?
More like Hop-lee-tay
I played this game more then age of empires 2... always loved it, and cheating on the game was fun when you get meteors to spam.
Age of Mythology being on steam is a dream come true.
Ive never played AoM. Just curious what makes it great?
Ive never played AoM. Just curious what makes it great?
Everything.
Ive never played AoM. Just curious what makes it great?
It's pretty much Age of Empires but with way cooler units like Hydras and other mythological jazz.
It's pretty much Age of Empires but with way cooler units like Hydras and other mythological jazz.
And the fact that there's a lot more differences between civs
its age of empires with completely different playstyles for each civ (and even within civs, as you choose a 'main' god that gives bonuses to certain units) , semi-branching unit paths as you age up (choosing smaller gods that give you unique units and upgrades) a really fun voiced campaign, and unique god powers that can definitely win you a war and the game if you use them right the only big thing I personally dislike about it is the expansions titans, they're very annoying to kill and the first one to finish one normally 'wins' the game, or at least a large portion of the map, but other than that, its a great great game

While WC3 will always be my favorite, AoM will always be my second favorite. I'll probably get this when it goes out. To make a titan you had to waste a lot of resources and villagers to summon it, crippling your other productions. Also, If I'm not wrong, titants were weak against large armies. Once your titan went down, you were fucked because you had nothing to keep up with the rest.

All-time favorite game, hope the AI gets fixes and maybe some more mod compatibility. Think of what mod API and the steam workshop could do for this game...
PROSTAGMA
Kalos!
