I used to have both of these, and I remember they were really fun and occupied my un-used time. So I was thinking of getting the Garry's Mod + Counter-Strike package, since all I need is one source game. Do you guys think it's a good purchase? Or does noone play Gmod/Css anymore?

Figured it'd be cheaper if I bought Hl2 and then Gmod, then it's only $20.
Garrys mod has and always will be a fun game, even if the creator is a complete jerk off. The only issue is now-a-days, a lot of 12 year olds play gmod, so dont expect TOO much mature people, but if you keep looking you might find some cool people. Gmods a very very fun game, but personally its only fun if you play it with other people. As for CSS, to my knowledge no one plays it except for veterans, and unless you want to get head shot by AWPs every 2 seconds, I wouldn't worry about playing it, but its still good to have for its content considering most gmod maps use css textures/models.

If you dont have HL2 and have never played it before, then get HL2. Its one of the greatest games every created, and my personal all time favorite.
Well since I can get Gmod + Hl2 cheaper, i'll just get that instead. I remember I used to love gmod. The 12 year olds just make it funnier when they rage all the time.
I remember in one of my old clans, this 10 year old was running around being a mingebag so everyone was a dick to him. He got on mic yelling at people to stop being mean. He then proceeded to get his MOTHER, when got on the mic and told everyone to stop or she would take action.
Good times.
