So I got my rig up and running yesterday and today I installed BF3. I figured I'd play the campaign but after a few minutes of playing, the screen freezes for a second, aswell as the sound, and then it automatically minimizes and cant tabbed into again. Then I have to close the game with the task manager in order to shut the game down. How to fix?
Temps? Updated drivers n shit?
Updated drivers, Physx. Didn't check temps. But I run SWTOR maxed out with 110 fps at around 55 celcius. [editline]14th January 2012[/editline] Check temps now. [editline]14th January 2012[/editline] 55c in BF3 to.
uhm, what PSU do you have? just in case. Tried reinstalling the game?
I haven't tried to reinstall. But many seem to have problem with BF3 with the GTX 560Ti card. My PSU's at 630w and 32A, don't the name of it though.
Isn't gigabytes 560Ti is overclocked from fabricate? I've heard that BF3 automatically overclock stuffs for increased performance, if the card already is overclocked, that might be a problem. I've only heard about this. It may have been fixed. But you could try downclocking a bit.

So that could be it, he overclocks it and the game overclocks it. How do I downclock it? I'm not good with this. :3:
Fixed it, flashed my BIOS.
