the 2002 Tobey Maguire One or the 2012 Andrew Garfield One
I would go with the 2002 One

Tobey Maguire. Mainly because Spider-Man was the first film I saw in theatres iirc so his portrayal of the character has a special place in my heart.
Where's "Neither"? always felt the spiderman movies gave fuckall about canon.
Not sure why, but I was never a fan of the Spider-man films, but I thought "The Amazing Spider-man" was pretty cool.
They were both pretty meh. Though we did get Spiderman 2 the game from the first set of movies so I'm inclined to lean that way.
Marvel would make a great Spiderman movie, too bad Sony still has the movie rights.
I liked the first one mostly because he LOOKED more like Peter. The second one looks like Werewolf McShirtless from Twilight.
I like the new one. They did really well on the movie. I mean, the old ones were good and all but eh.
I have to say, after the first movie, Tobey ran the character into the ground when the director in the third movie said he had to be some emo.... suave... guy?
This new one seems more like Peter Parker, but the very first movie to come out was the best one imo.
2002 first movie
2012
It's at a tie right now.
Haven't seen the new one so can't really vote without being biased.

1 an 2 where pretty great but yea 3rd one was not a good idea
I thought this was a poll asking which do we like better? Spider or man?
I liked the Green Goblin more than that reptile thing.
The new one is ridiculously awesome.
I've seen it three times because I work at a movie theatre. And I did like the 2002 one, but I don't know... something about sticking so close to the comic and having this edgier spider man is so good.
I would honestly say the story for the 2002 one has a little more depth, though.
I'd say spider-man 2002 but I have yet to actually see The amazing spider-man.
I think I prefer the newer one for being slightly closer to the comics, but they made Parker kind of a prick.
Primarily the first one, but I liked elements from the new one.
The new one I think is a lot better.
I thought the older one might be better until I actually saw it again, but then I realized I only thought that because I saw it when I was only 10.
The 2002 film, partly for nostalgia I suppose and the fact the new one did feel a bit samey.
Haven't seen the latest one, but Spiderman 1, 2 and to lesser extend 3 has some of the worst CGI I've seen in any film with an actual budget. Star Wars episode one aside, of course.
Well I haven't seen the latest one so I can't really comment. But I saw the third one on TV a couple of days ago, and most people seem to look past all the badass action. I mean things like emo Peter was hilariously bad. But goddamn there are some good fight scenes in the third movie.
Visually: the new spiderman
story: the old spiderman
I just love Kirsten Dunst's boobs
I think the second is a much better, it's less cheesy and more faithful to the comics.
and I prefer Garfield as Spiderman.
I definitely enjoyed the new spider man. The day after I went to the theatres and saw The Amazing Spider man i threw in spider man 2, which had previously been my favorite of the series, but I didn't dig it as much as had used too. The new one introduced a few new angles and concepts to the series that almost seemed missing in the older series.
The animation and acrobatics weren't as good in the amazing spiderman though, the original series did well with that, it pretty much held up its own entertainment value.
Oh, and the enemies from the original series shat on Lizard.
I really enjoyed the newer one. I liked the one from 2002, but Idk, I felt like this one was just better. I liked how their was humor in it, and also Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone.

I like man better because I've never been working at my computer while a naked man slowly decends before me from a silk strand emanating from his anus.
Whereas a spider has done that to me quite recently.
I'd say the new one, I thought it was really well done.
I liked the old movies when I saw them but looking back they have a lot of flaws. The new film has better actors, better effects and they just did Spiderman the character way better.
