Japan Rail Pass Question Normal Vs 1st Class

for people who have used once or more the JR Pass for the Bullet Train what's it like in both class's.

What do I get with normal class ( what perks I get ) vs 1st class ( more or better perks )

Normal cost like $350 and 1st Class cost like $485 I want to know if it's worth paying over $100 for first class or not and just stick with normal class
