I didn't even notice any down time, and I laughed at the bbc calling twitter a competitor. Twitter is tiny compared to facebook, and they're not even trying to compete. It's more like twitter want to be there for useful information that people actually care about reading without the need to sort through tons of shit.
Depresses me how much people depend on it.

I check it about daily.
If I can't connect I move on to some other, more important task.
Facebook is mainly an outlet for teenage girls to fight for the most attention.

I'd probably just have to change how I got in touch with people back to phone/in-person.
I wouldn't freak out, but I certainly would get a little pissy. Facebook going down is like Google going down. Sorta a bad analogy, but my point is that when you wanna find information about your friends or something, and you can't, it is annoying.

I wish that would happen. I love G+'s layout soo much, but I don't feel like I'm really connected on it because it's like a ghost town. I stopped going on once I realized I only went on to play the games.
