• I need a new mouse

The shitty wired mouse that came with my PC finally died out, and the only mouses around the house are shitty small wireless mice that don't fit in my hand. What I'm looking for: -A mouse that is good for general use & gaming -Will fit in your hand, is not a shitty small mouse -No shitty auto-sensitivity adjustment(you move the mouse faster, it's sensitivity increases, do not want this) -No wireless, there's too much interference Any suggestions?
Kensington PilotMouse Optical. It works perfectly fine for me.
Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3. I love it.
Forgot one thing, just added it to the OP -No wireless, there's too much interference
Mx518 [editline]15th October 2010[/editline] or G500, you didn't specify a budget
I use a Logitech MX518 easy to hold and use, adjustable sensitivity on the mouse itself and it looks pretty damn spanky.

Mx518. It's the perfect mouse.
Yeah, go with the MX518. It's great, not covered in buttons, not all "Ub3r l33t" like some "gaming" mouses, interesting design, and convenient buttons. One of my favorite parts is the sensitivity increase/decrease buttons above and below the scrolling wheel, it's extremely helpful when I'm playing Bioshock because the sensitivity is insane and can be perfected using the sensitivity buttons. And when you're done playing, you can easily just bump the sensitivity back up.
That's purely a software setting.
No it is not, I haven't installed any drivers for that mouse on any of the computers I have, yet it still does it [editline]15th October 2010[/editline] Are there any differences between http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-518-Gaming-Grade-Optical-Mouse/dp/B0015R8M7U/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1287104619&sr=8-8 and http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Performance-Optical-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B0007Z1M50/ref=pd_cp_e_0 other than style?

I bought one and it will arrive tomorrow. If you're not cheap, get the Logitech mouse, that thing seems very time-tested. I recall my friend having one just like it a few years back, yet they're still popular. It's called mouse acceleration, or "Enhance pointer precision". (Sometimes it's bugged and you must turn it off through the registry). Go into your control panal and turn it off. Certain older games turn it on automatically, like CS 1.6, you can put in some special command to make it never do this. If you truly have a mouse that's got it on through hardware, I'd be very surprised. What mouse do you currently have that's doing this? [editline]14th October 2010[/editline] It appears they're the same, but sometimes sellers will make a new item rather than sell it in the correct place. One may be a older or newer model, though.

I have a crappy no-name mouse for 5 bucks since 2 years now, It is awesome, I dont get it, why some people spend so much money on a mouse.
I have a crappy no-name mouse for 5 bucks since 2 years now, It is awesome, I dont get it, why some people spend so much money on a mouse.
because they like to use mice that aern't shit and track well
I have a crappy no-name mouse for 5 bucks since 2 years now, It is awesome, I dont get it, why some people spend so much money on a mouse.
usually the cheaper mouses are the ones without any settings, the more expensive ones usually have more buttons than left/rightclick and scroll, like dpi settings, prev/nextpage etc. Oh and they are usually more ergonomic so that it fits better in your hand. If you get used to cheap ones, you will not like the more fancy ones and vice versa [editline]15th October 2010[/editline]
because they like to use mice that aern't shit and track well
i had an old microsoft mouse, this one: cheap shit, but best mouse I ever had
I bought a Razer Deathadder when it was on sale for $30. Best mouse I've used in a while ._.

hi mmavipc
Logitech M310 Full size, laser tracking. Excellent for gaming, I've found.
MX518 best mouse ever imo. Also we should maybe make an which mouse should i choose thread?
http://openofficemouse.com/pr110609.html shiit nigggga
I think the horrible user experience and the ugly design fits right in with that OpenOffice.org logo :smug: In all seriousness, if you have to ask the question "What button do I use to left click", there's something horribly wrong with it.
I'm very happy with my Logitech G5, so I would recommend the updated version of that; Logitech G500.
