Just wanted to post this here before I order it. My budget is around $500 but I'd like it to be as cheap as possible obviously. Main uses for this will be gaming, CAD, and other schoolwork. Also, I don't need a HDD or monitor.

If anyone has suggestions on improvements or if i goofed on the compatibility of the parts let me know.
It's alright, but not the best use of your money. Here's a few changes:

CPU:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103882
RAM:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145260
Case:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147023
This is a hell of a lot better than your original build and under budget with rebates or a little over without
Thanks, I took your GPU, CPU, and RAM. But I don't think the new RAM will work with the old mobo.
Will this work with everything?

Also, I didn't take your case because i have a combo deal with the case and PSU that saves me another $20.
new grand total: $502
Everything will work with that motherboard
And this is why I ask a few people before I order it haha.
Anyone else want to weigh in their 2 cents?

The 5570 is rated about the same as the 240, but it is a bit cheaper.

Why would you suggest a card that's worse than the 4870.
Thanks, but I'm going with the 4870
Excellent choice
