I am using the integrated sound controller on my msi x58 pro-e mobo and I unplugged my bose companion 2s to try and use a pair of ohms or 5.1 acoustimass setup but neither of those gave me any sound while my brothers ipod did (no bass on the acoustimass though)and now my companions don't work either. the controller is picking up the speakers but it doesn't play any sound
the controller is realtek HD audio controller
Did you try to reinstall the drivers?
