Basically, my dad wants me to investigate on how to get his PDF files that he downloads from a FTP website to stay right side up after you close it and such.
For example, He downloaded the files, opens it its facing to the right, I rotate it. And It right side up, but it doesn't stay that way until he closes it. It annoys the hell out of him.
I've already tried saving it while it was rotated. But nothing.
help?
perhaps change the default task for opening pdf files to be a small little script where it will open the file, save the ftp folder directory (not sure how this would work..), then run the regular acrobat exe file and tell it to wait until you are done editing. When you close the program (it should be saved on your computer first), have it start up a command-line based FTP program, log into the FTP server, then upload the new PDF there.
It's not too easy considering you can't have local access to an FTP server...
