My current PC is held inside an old case for a prebuilt. Now, one of my friends decided to build a PC, bought the case, and then changed his mind and bought a PS3 instead. He's now offering me the case, a NZXT M59 for 40 dollars. Is it a good case?

Case in question:

assuming it's in okay condition, then yeah, it's a good case.

30 bucks cheaper than newegg, go for it.
Does it support longer cards like the 6950, though?
Just get a CM690 dude.
Great reply.

It is; NZXT cases are for ricer gaemer bois.
I'm not going to ignore a deal like this if the case supports bigger cards. Your personal opinion doesn't belong.

Also if you tell me to google it, I currently have no other options for internet connectivity than my cell, and googling for stuff like that using it is a pain.

It says there is room for 10" GPU's, so it most likely would support the newer, longer graphics cards.
There's something more important at hand here, and that's the issue of your friend changing his mind and buying a PS3.

if sony gets off of the jailbreaker's asses and they reunlock otheros then he can install yellow dog or debian and make it just as good as a regular computer
If this is anything like the build quality of the NZXT Apollo I used to have, I wouldn't even pay :20bux: for it.
Stay away from budget NZXT cases. The expensive ones are fine though, especially the Phantom (though overpriced).

Even my tiny mATX case holds a 6950 without overheating.
I've owned 2 NZXT cases. And a friend that has one. I used to have the Lexa blackline which was a decent case. I ordered a Hades, and it is much better. Then, the Phantom, which my friend has, is amazing. It does need to be cheaper.
NZXT has some cases that are complete ricer, and that are cheap POS. However, the high end market cases are really nice. In this case, the M59, I say get it especially since it is so cheap and still in the box.
