Well I just got my new comp and I tried to unlock my 550BE so I do it and it restarts but now I get no signal from the monitor. I'll list whats going on:
- HDD light doesn't turn on at all (I use a sata HDD)
- All fans spin(including GPU and CPU)
- I think my mobo still works because That little Ethernet light turns on when I plug a cable in.
- I installed some old IDE HDD and the HDD light just turns Solid when I turn on my comp.
- Reset Bios by removing Battery for 30 secs. and putting it back in. Computer boot normally but when I restarted to see if it would boot again, but it didn't and hasn't since then.
I'm thinking that it could somehow be my HDD, mobo partially damaged, or my cpu. What can you guys say? Any help? I do have warranties on my parts.
You flashed your BIOS to try to unlock it, right?
Have you tried getting it back to the default BIOS that the mobo shipped with? (resetting it with the removal of the battery wouldn't do this AFAIK)
How would I do that?
Unclip BIOS chip and order a new one.
If your mobo supports that.
My motherboard apparently has a backup BIOS. How would I access that? It's a Gigabyte MA770T-UD3P. Also my DVD drives Led blinks when I turn on the computer.
