New earphones sound ridiculously low - is there a way to change the treble/bass balance?

I'm using Windows 7 64 bit, and some cheap (but relatively nice) earphones. Any chance that there's a way to toy around with the sound balance in Windows?

And when I said they sound low, I meant that the bass setting is too high, or the treble setting is too low.

Nope. I have a built-in Realtek soundcard.

AFAIK, you can go to Sound Devices, double-click your output device, there should be a tab with some enhancements, can't really tell since my Live! is not supported by Win7, using kX drivers :sigh:

Try changing those settings.
