The U.S. Navy's Sea, Air and Land (SEAL) Teams (commonly known as Navy SEALs) are the Special Operations Forces of the United States Navy. In this role, SEALs operate in a wide variety of circumstances, from direct combat, to reconnaissance, as well as counter-terrorism and hostage situations. The Navy SEALs originate from the Amphibious Scout and Raider School, established 1942, which trained demolitions specialists to make note of obstacles affecting beach landings and guide assault forces around them. This led to further training in underwater demolitions, and today they conduct a far wider variety of operations. The Navy SEALs are known to work in concert with other US military and intelligence groups such as USSOCOM and the CIA. There are currently 10 SEAL Teams deployed in various parts of the world.

tl:dr = Who would win in a Squad battle, the SAS or U.S Navy Seals?
No Call of Duty crap please!
Well, this is stupid.
Silly nationalism aside, I'm pretty sure the SAS are far more revered than Navy Seals.
t-rex
ummm welll navy seals was in call of duty so they are better but then again SAS was in counter strike so they were popular in that game so i dont know ummmmmmmmmmmmmm ill vote for the uhhhh french GIGN i liked their outfit in counter strike
SAS.
They're kickass.
At least some people take this seriously. :smug:
This will soon turn into a Brittards V. Americunts flame war.
SAS would pretty much wipe the floor with them.
At least some people take this seriously. :smug:
why should anyone take this seriously? this is pointless and dumb and will just end up with people from the UK bashing the seals and people from the US bashing the SAS.
It's impossible to tell, it would depend on the specific individuals as opposed to the different forces, luck would also play a factor, basically it's impossible to tell, you could run this scenario dozens of times and either team could win multiple times, the different weapons they have don't really matter that much, thay matter a little, but there all about the same quality and can do the same things, it would depend on the SPECIFIC navy seals/SAS dudes.
ITT: people who try and speculate on fights when they know nothing about modern combat.
Why the Navy SEALS? Why not Marines Force Recon or the Green Berets?
Why the Navy SEALS? Why not Marines Force Recon or the Green Berets?
Because it doesn't matter, in a straight fight such as this with no extra circumstances they would all do about the same.
Why the Navy SEALS? Why not Marines Force Recon or the Green Berets?
I was planing on making other threads, if this one becomes popular. :/
I was planing on making other threads, if this one becomes popular. :/
Please don't.
not unless THERE WAS A T-REX ON THEIR SIDE
GUYS YOU KNOW DINOSAURS ALWAYS WIN
Why the Navy SEALS? Why not Marines Force Recon or the Green Berets?
Because they don't have computer games named after them.

P.S. The commodore 64 game doesn't count.
The SAS would win.
Pretty much all Americans vote Navy Seals and all Brits vote SAS.
Might as well put are you from Britain or USA as the poll question.
Well, in the picture, the SAS guy is aiming at the sky, and I'm judging my opinions of the pictures.
SEALS.
Well, in the picture, the SAS guy is aiming at the sky, and I'm judging my opinions of the pictures.
SEALS.
The SEALS are aimed at Targets.
Neutral.

SEALS.
Do they look silly now?
SAS, because they are are badass and British! Also they win in just about every book made. Their tactics equipment and training are superior.
tier 1 wins
I think the Navy Seals would win in an open battle, but the S.A.S is trained for more close quarter combat (not melee, rather something like inside a building).
But S.A.S is the coolest of them.
The S.A.S and S.B.S. have ice water for blood, eat C4 and piss whiskey. I think they'd win for sure.
ITT: Nationalists.

yes
You cannot say who is more likely to win because there are too many uncontrollable variables.
