I'm going to get banned for this but hopefully not. I torrented a really old game. The first operation flashpoint to be specific and I'm wondering if I'll get in trouble for it. I just torrented it because it's pretty much impossible to get otherwise.

Depends on your ISP.

Also, it's not impossible to get - you could probably find it pretty easily on Amazon.
I prefer not to order things online due to credit cards being maxed out etc.
Depends on the ISP.
99% of the time, you won't get into trouble, which is why piracy still rages everywhere.
You're off the hook, but please do buy the game if you will find it.
I don't have an ISP you would have heard of in america so I won't specify but they're usually pretty fucking dumb. I got a free router/modem that supercharged my connection for free for unlisting my phone number. Will buy the game if I see it.
You CAN get in trouble for it, but the effort is wasted in punishing one specific pirate when piracy is in abundance everywhere else on the internet. You're totally capable of getting in touble, its just that the police are too busy out there solving real crimes.
Unless if you do something incredibly stupid like trying to sell the pirated games. Then police will probably bust you.
The most ISPs do is send you a warning letter.
Your ISP can track you, but they cannot actively monitor the activities of all subscribers constantly.
I got busted for piracy recently after some cunt got on my wireless network and downloaded Sherlock Holmes
Can they? Yeah. Do they? No.
Worst case scenario? You'll get a cease and desist letter that you throw out and ignore.
A lot of ISPs in America keep a log of everything that goes through their routers, etc.
No one gives shit, seriously. Guys up there just talking out of their asses.
