Are there any legitimately depressing games that you've played?

Have there been any games in which you've became depressed due to the story/atmosphere? (Depressing because of dull/repetitive gameplay doesn't count)
One game that honestly depressed me was S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call of Pripyat, specifically Pripyat itself. Every moment I was there, things would go from bad to worse. With the situation becoming more hopeless in Pripyat, I gradually became depressed and felt major hopelessness. I remember feeling like I would be stuck in a Hell-hole forever. Almost no life in which you could socialize with, and the constant deaths of the remaining people that you're supposed to keep alive, the feeling of loneliness escalated and quickly took affect in catalyzing the hopelessness I was feeling. Soon reaching the point in the game where making any trips to different areas in the Zone impossible, being forced to survive in only Pripyat caused a greater feeling of isolation. It was like being forced to slowly watch all your friends die, having no one else to comfort you, knowing you can't look away or go back home to a more comfortable/safe place. I eventually felt like I was going to die in Pripyat itself.
Call of Pripyat is a work of art that managed to trigger grief, isolation, and minor depression. No other game has ever toyed with my emotions like that. That's why I love S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
My question to you is, have you ever played a game that depressed you in any way?
Prey.
I can't really say anything without spoiling it, go play it.
I cried at the end of Red Dead Redemption. Truely a great game.
To the moon.
Mass Effect trilogy. Getting so used to being around all the characters and then suddenly finishing the series was heartbreaking. It's like making really close friends you get attached to and then they're gone.
It was also a bad idea to replay all 3 games start to finish because the menu music in the first one brought me to tears when I went back to it.
Red Dead Redemption and Spec Ops: The Line.
obligatory Walking Dead mention
Valiant Hearts

edit: Thanks for the help.
pathologic is kind of like how you said in that it feels more and more hopeless as time goes on, but it didnt make me feel so much depressed as it did make me feel like utter shit
Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. While all was not as it seemed with the Vaults, thinking of how it was for the people who didn't get into one of them when the bombs hit gets me down. Or someone was desperate enough to try one of those coin operated "shelters". I guess those are for a small amount of comedy value, but its still a downer that a handful of people were desperate enough for safety to hide in one of those.
bioshock 2, I wanted us all to live and not die for once
Aliens: Colonial Marines
[sp]Not that I actually played it[/sp]
Halo Reach.
That game left me in quite a shock knowing that [sp]almost all of Noble Team got killed.[/sp]

*shiver*
Corpse Party. If you check it out, ignore the anime visual novel look it's got going on, that game has a fucking heartbreaking story. I've played it about 3 times and each time it's left me feeling empty and depressed for 2-3 days after each time.
It's a PSP game, but you can emulate it on PC with the emulator PPSSPP, if you want to play it.
The second Burial at Sea DLC for Bioshock: Infinite.
Ep2
Ugh
Braid,Shadow of the Colossus, I Have No Mouth, And I Must Scream and Limbo.
Ugh, i really can't decide which one makes me feel worse.
F.E.A.R: Extraction Point
Spec Ops: The Line
Fallout New Vegas: Lonesome Road DLC
Well, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. really is one of those games that really can get your emotions moving. I've only played SoC, but I'll be getting CoP, sometime soon.
And Metro of course.
Bioshock 2, [sp]I got the neutral ending, where Elanor wonders if she could be redeemed while Subject Delta is dying.[/sp].
I felt like shit for [sp]harvesting the Little Sisters to survive while leaving Poole, Holloway, and Alex alive.[/sp]
New Vegas didn't make me depressed, but I felt serious sympathy for The King and Rex. Probably because Rex reminds me of my dog.
penumbra overture really got to me when [sp] red got incinerated [/sp]
fuck man that was insanely sad

i feel bad for not finishing CoP though, i did a few missions in pripyat and felt satisfied with the game and stopped. i should replay it because i didn't feel anything at all what you felt, op
The Walking Dead (season one) is one of the most tragic stories I've ever experienced. Can't really explain too much about that one 'cause I want to avoid spoilers, just take my word for it I guess.
And even though I never finished it I found Majora's Mask really depressing, especially compared to the other Zelda games that make you feel like a hero, in Majora's Mask you're kind of like an unappreciated guardian angel torturing himself trying to save everybody. There's also just something really eery about knowing that everybody's going to die/going back in time and re experiencing the same events without anybody knowing what's going on. The soundtrack is also amazing and perfectly fits the tone of it all. I really need to get back to this game.

Well, it's depressing for a different reason :v:
Every Mystery Dungeon game's ending has made me cry.
