Why do people use the bandwagon as an excuse for people having an opinion? Call of Duty is nothing special, and certainly shouldn't be recognised as so.

Ironically, people always use the opinion excuse for being a bandwagoner. I don't recognise Call of Duty as an innovative game. I hate it. I just don't complain about it all the time, so I'm not a bandwagoner.

Because some people jump to it without knowing anything about the subject, usually to look more edgy and cool and/or fit in the crowd (And that's what bandwagons are about).
One person can have an opinion, but if a lot of people follow him like sheeps without building up an individual opinion (That can be similar or not), then it's bandwagoning

From what I can tell Xeonmuffin was just pointing out a part of the article that he felt was particularly humorous as opposed to pointing it out and complaining about it.

By that logic I wasn't bandwagon-ing, I've played CoD:MW, CoD:WaW, CoD:MW:2, and CoD:BO and after every time I always keep saying to myself why do I keep buying this shit, it's the same old shit day after day.
