47WPM on second try, though I'm pretty terrible when it comes to touch typing, and I basically only use my index fingers. Imagine the agony of writing 16543 posts on this forum with that speed.

Can't stand tests like this, completely invalid for testing how fast someone can type a long sentence like that, it should be proper sentences, not just a selection of random words

43 wpm :( Pretty fuckin terrible I know. I never learned how to type properly. I spent typing class either playing Hexen or cheating the typing program. I never found being able to type fast as being all that important compared to what exactly it is that you're typing.

Generally I found learning to type beyond 100 WPM being depending on training, lots of training. If you do it long enough you slowly start to learn the layout of the QWERTY keyboard, although I can't remember how I learned to type blind. Otherwise this system is very cool. I just hate this certification shit going on. No One Can READ a sentence, with, wording that is ODD with STRANGE; Punctuation cattle!
