social media, especially Facebook imo, is a joke. at least before people used to share pics and words from their lives but nowadays most that I know use the platform as the new 9gag. not surprised at all that people don't trust social media anymore when no one is using it seriously

Depends a little. While I do think Britain goes too far in regulating certain things, I also think that some users go way too far in ways that are (currently) not regulated.
