What resolution qualifies as "HD?" I'm really tired of this "HD" pseudo-HD bullshit we've been getting on consoles this generation
Yeah I'm interested to see what exactly is gonna be 'HD' about this
but this game is so fucking incredible, get it
great game
Well if they update nothing but the resolution and the HUD (frankly the textures and all that are pretty up-scalable thanks to the artstyle and the fuckload of fancy shaders in the game) I have little doubt it could actually run in 1080p.
Pretty crazy how old Wii and PS2 games can't even run in 1920x1080 on the consoles...

That would be incredibly unstable.
Apparently Capcom clouded up the PS2 footage to make the HD version look better. :v:
Could be higher resolution textures.

No, I saw some very pixelated textures in there.
That's one thing I wish they'd do with all these "HD remasterings" coming out lately. Don't just up the resolution. Fix bugs, polish things up a bit. Make them worth spending the $40 they're charging for them.
The PS2 to PS3 comparisons don't even look real. The PS2 comparison doesn't look lower resolution, it looks like someone recorded it with a badly smudged up camera lens.
Personally, I would love to see Okami's beautiful art style in high resolution.
