I have been on the move so much lately I barely get to see my desktop anymore, and I have decided to bite the bullet and buy a decent portable gaming laptop. I'm trying to keep it under $900, but if you can recommend something a LOT (I mean it) better for around $900 I will consider it. I don't plan on playing Crysis or anything on it (from what I've been reading I hear you can though), I just want to be able to run things like World of Warcraft, maybe some of the Call of Duties and other mid-range games on it. I would also love some hefty processor speed and RAM. I have two picked out, so if you can tell me which is better or if there is one even better for the same price range I would really appreciate it.

I'm not sure which graphics card is better on these models.
Quit teasing me, lurk less and reply more :downs:

It doesn't say on the site but that ASUS laptop has a 'NVIDIA GeForce GT 335M '
The first laptop doesn't have any reviews, and the second one has awful reviews. First of all are those any better than the ones I picked out, and second of all have you had any firsthand experience with either of those laptops?

User Reviews from Newegg/Amazon are unreliable.
I understand I shouldn't buy a computer based on reviews, but I want to know if he's even used the computer himself. Not trying to be a picky asshole, but I don't know a lot about gaming laptops and want to be sure before I get one.

You're right. So nothing better for 800-900$ than the one he linked?

That I do not know anything about. I'm just saying that you should rely on what hardware the computers has, not reviews.
People who bother writing those reviews are usually rather illiterate.
It's ASUS, so you know you're getting quality. And there's that amazing ASUS 360 warranty shit.
As for the two laptops you linked, OP, the 5470 and 310m are extremely inadequate for any sort of gaming. The 335m and 5730 on my links are waaaaay better, though you may want to look around some more.
Impossible.
