Title says it all, post your favorite PC games with local multiplayer.
I find myself hooking my PC up to my living room TV whenever friends are over to play games since it has all of my media and such on it as well. For the most part, we play Street Fighter 4 and Sonic All-Stars Racing, but what are some other PC games with good local multiplayer or coop?
Trine 2 is pretty fun. I've only played it online, but according to steam it has local co-op.

If you're into fantasy or sidescrollers, you might like it. It can be quite hilarious at times too.
Bionic Commando Rearmed (awesome)
Ignition (evergreen classic!)
Renegade Ops
Castle Crashers
as far as I know all the Serious Sam games
Resident Evil 5
Resident Evil 6
The Cave
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light

up to 2 players on keyboard and up to 4 with controllers
Spelunky just released and the deathmatch mode is a lot of fun in a chaotic, Bomberman kind of way.
Oh and Guacamelee just came out too. It's awesome and it has 2-player local co-op through the whole game, although I haven't tried the co-op yet.
Dungeon Defenders
Any Worms gamr
Castle Crashers
Jamestown
Monaco
Magicka
Serious Sam 3
Rock of Ages
UT3 has splitscreen support with proper console commands or a mutator floating around
call of duty
:v:
If you are looking for a free game, Warmux is pretty fun.

Few of the Lego games. Might sound childish but they're fun when I play together with my sister.
I recommend going for Lord of the Rings or Indiana Jones collection. And they're made for gamepads.
Heroes of Might and Magic 3. With the Hot seat mode up to 8 players can play on the same PC. Also, it's the best of the series.
How does this thread exist without GoldenEye, Perfect Dark, or TimeSplitters being mentioned. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

I guess that it is possible with emulators
Oh I forgot it was PC only, but emulators have multiple controller support.
Jazz Jackrabbit 2 if you can find it, any of the Trackmania games, and Worms Armageddon if you're into turn-based strategy games.
SkullGirls
SeriousSam
L4D2 with console commands i think
Sonic and allstars racing transformed

How could I forget that game. And Wake of Gods expansion.
Being 14 and not knowing any better about balance and stuff vanilla HoMM3 looked dull. After years of carefully crafting the config file I have the best gimmick-filled and most fun hot-seat experience WoG 3.58f has to offer.
I think I can try and dig it out tomorrow.
for best experience select necropolis and hero with necromancy. Build randomly, but amplifier first. Have your single hero kill the weakest enemies and scale up the difficulty. By the second week you are most certainly guaranteed to have zounds of skeletons. Combine them with Emblem of Conganize for extremely OP bonuses every monday.
If you can look past the lack of split-screen, Spelunky.
