I you'st want an simple answer.
Good or Bad
It is "good"
When I had the stock cooler it idled at about 35 degrees.
how is it when you overclock?
If you want the 940 why don't you get the 965, it's at 3.4Ghz

AM3 is compatible with AM2+.
Just get the 975 intel. It's bound to be better.

Except it costs £700 and would require a new motherboard and new RAM.
Stock is fine, even if you OC a bit.

965 is entirely useless. Either get a 955 and overclock it or get an i7.

I really don't know where I even got his info for his motherboard. I thought it was AM2 or something. I probably read the wrong thread and went off to another tab.
The stock coolers nice on mine. Don't expect to overclock that much though.
