They really don't need their very own beasts to synergize with beasts. They have a lot of steroid cards, they can pretty much make decks with any tribe.
This card does seem like it would be alot more effective as a hunter card. I can't think of many Druid decks that run beasts.

There are a handful of neutral beasts in the current card set that have relevant enough effects to be run in a Druid deck. 'Power of the Wild' can also summon a panther that's classified as a beast, so there is some small class card synergy.

If it was a hunter card it would be extremely op. Basically just a 5 mana 7/7 all the time.
