Will Minecraft be put on steam?
dunno
Yes, tomorrow.
I doubt Notch would ever consider it.
I doubt Notch would ever consider it.
He did you idiot. [editline]2nd January 2011[/editline] But obviously there is no further information as Notch did not further investigate on the possibilities.
I can see it being a possibility. Once its gets into its full game stage I think.
Won't minecraft break when you put it on steam? Because I don't know how water resistant it is :downs:
Doubt he will, he sells enough copies of the game direct from his website. Doesn't want to lose those to steam where he will only make a fraction of his profits.
as unbelievable as it sounds, not every game has to go on steam.
I hope it won't, Valve would mess up the server systems and even more shitkids would play it
what are you on about? Everything would be the same, the only difference would be steam tracking your stats and the other steam luxuries.
Yeah, i'm sure the last thing notch wants is more people buying the game!
Its not sure if its worth it considering the loss in profit. Either he keeps it to his site and get more per game but perhaps with a slight loss in buyers, or he "puts" it on steam and lower his profits by a good bit I assume, and gets slightly more buyers.
Not to mention it's a Java game, though I suppose there have been some games like that on Steam (Machinarium is a flash game right?).
Why is everyone calling him notch? His name is Markus and I do hope he decide to put it on steam but I don't think he will :smith:
I mean it made Garry rich With the money he got, he bought the worlds slowest CPU for facepunch.
