I need some simple suggestions for streaming video files from my home computer to my laptop when I'm away from home. I'm aware of VLC as a streaming service, but I can't seem to find any updated guides. What have you got for me, Facepunch?
Well, there is ustream, that would work if you had enough bandwidth. Though the quality will be bad unless you pay for it. I would recommend that or just copy your video files to your laptop.
