The title made me think that Android Wear watches break after the first week :v:
whats wrong with charging your watch every night?
do people sleep with their watches on or something?

I've got a smartwatch and I do. I use my pebble to wake me when it recognizes that I am out of deep sleep.
Charging is something that I'd never considered when I first heard about smart watches. Now that I think of it, it actually feels like a pretty big downside compared to a regular watch, considering the fact that even a shitty regular watch can last like a year or more without requiring a battery replacement.
Then again, I'm the kind of person who hates wearing a watch anyways and only own a crappy LCD watch for when I can't have my phone on my person for whatever reason.
I have an old smart watch, lasts for an hour.
