I just bought a new computer and I'm not really sure which temp monitor is good and id rather not install like 10, what do you guys think is the best?
SpeedFan. It's small and it does it's job very well. You can enable it to start with Windows and sit in the taskbar.

Ehh, I like HWMonitor most. It is simply basic and does not have any cluttered bullshit with it.
HWmonitor Speedfan isn't even accurate.
HWMonitor
Get a real hardware temp monitor with probes, like NZXT Sentry http://www.nzxt.com/new/products/fan_control/sentry_2

I agree, massive pain to setup, difficult to cable manage and gaudy as fuck.
forgot to mention that i would want one that would have an overlay in-game
All of the hardware-based temperature monitors have a long way to go before becoming viable.
I believe MSI afterburner has a GPU stats overlay, not sure about CPU though.
You can use MSI Afterburner for an Ingame GUI what shows your GPU temp IIRC.
http://www.hwinfo.com/download64.html is unrivalled
But what of OpenHardwareMonitor?
But what of OpenHardwareMonitor?
Looks pretty outdated by comparison These things need to stay current
I agree, massive pain to setup, difficult to cable manage and gaudy as fuck.
I have an open system now. Agree that now setting system in a cabinet and cleaning that cabinet after month or so is even much more pain.
