Well what is yours? I prefer LibreOffice because it's free mostly, but it's obviously beginning to surpass OpenOffice.
Microsoft Office.
I love LibreOffice, but Microsoft is still ahead. I want to see that change.
Tie between LibreOffice and MS Office. we don't use OpenOffice anymore.
Microsoft Office

Microsoft Office 2003 Fuck Ribbon I'm forced to use 2007 at least for uni though, as everyone uses docx. I'm trying out 2010 now to see how it is, seems like a pretty straight refresh of 2007 though.
MS Office 2010 Home and Business on Desktop, 2007 on netbook , don't mind office 2007, apart form it using .docx as a default file type. 2010 is fine, but it's better than 2007 at least.
libreoffice because i dont want to pay 100$ for software that i'm only going to use during the school year
I use Office 2007. There is a metric fuckton of shortcuts and time-savers in say, Word. For taking notes in class, I rarely need to use the touchpad. CTRL-ALT-1 for Heading 1 Putting * and then a space to start a bulleted list (Then all of the shortcuts for sub-bullets and such). Then the standard shortcuts, like CTRL-Enter and Shift-Enter that probably work in other standard suites. Plus, the included fonts, templates and optional stuff make throwing together a presentation really easy. Speaking of presentations, look at Presenter View in PowerPoint demonstrated by this really bad slideshow I put together in 45 seconds. Basically, you can attach your laptop (Windows-P for quick options to extend/mirror the screen) to a projector, then enable presenter view. What you see on the left of the screenshot is what would be on your laptop screen and on the right, that would be the projector's image. Any notes on the made on the slides will be able to be seen in presenter view on the laptop, without cluttering the part people see. This makes it easier for you and the people who may be jotting down notes. However, Libreoffice is getting pretty damn good for a free piece of software. There's no denying that. If you don't have a copy of Office and can't get it heavily discounted / free from your school, it's a pretty good alternative. There are some occasional weird quirks with formatting when you save/edit Office documents, so if you're emailing your work to a teacher or something, use PDF to be safe.
1.office 2010 2. Open office 3. Wordpad in windows 7 4. fuck libreoffice it is the same damn thing as open office
Microsoft Office is difficult to get used to after using other programs but once you do it's pretty good.
LibreOffice and Google Docs (dunno if it counts but it is damn handy to use).
LibreOffice. It loads faster for me, and is quite professional and productive.
Microsoft office, its boss

I get Microsoft Office for free on my school laptop so that's what i use. On my main PC i just have notepad.
Microsoft Office hands down. I've tried OpenOffice, and MS Word clones, but none really offer the ease of use or functionality that MS Office has. Last time I made a PowerPoint in Open Office, it came out like shit when viewed in MS PP. I didn't know it would do that until I was presenting it. Man, did that suck.
I use iwork become it came installed on my laptop ;_;

It's automatic if you have multiple displays).
I donno. MSO 2010 is pretty sharp IMO. I like it a lot. Much better than MSO 2007. What a pile of shit that was.
Microsoft Office of course, but I use LibreOffice since it's free.
MS Office 2010 x64
I prefer LibreOffice, but as of now, Microsofts Office suite is just easier and prettier and more usable, although not open source (as I'd love my apps to be)

Microsoft Office 2010. The free alternatives do the job I guess, but I've always preferred Microsoft Office as it's so much easier and nicer to use. The pricing is pretty ridiculous however, which does put a lot of people off. I only use 2010 as I managed to get the full professional suite for very cheap but I wouldn't pay the RRP for any of the editions however.
Like i said before. I don't have Microsoft Office on my main PC. But by reading this thread would you guys say that Libre Office if a good free alternative to use at my main PC?
Office 2010 on my desktop and Libre Office on my laptop.
Microsoft Office. I use Libre Office on ubuntu, though.
