I've been having a really annoying problem with my 360 and it's connectivity. Whenever I turn it on, it gives me a one-bar (low) signal on my router in Network Settings. I have to disconnect from the router, reenter the password, and connect again. All of a sudden, that makes the signal bar full and I'm able to play my games. Keep in mind, if I don't do the whole reconnecting thing, I will randomly be disconnected from Xbox Live, and/or I will lag horribly in-game.
Then, once I'm in-game after that whole nonsense, whenever I pull host on a public game in Black Ops 2 or Halo 4 (even sometimes in a private match with friends) it will host migrate, and immediately kick me out of the game while my friends/other players in that game stay with a new host chosen. These problems annoy me so bad, I sometimes don't even wanna touch my Xbox for the rest of the day.
I have:

I also have a pretty excellent speed through Wi-Fi

(This was tested on my MacBook Pro across the house from where my router is located at. The Xbox 360 console is about 10-12 ft from it.)
Does anyone have any idea what might be going on with my connectivity? Any help will be appreciated :downs:
Have you tried opening the necessary ports?

There's a list of what you need, I'd presume. I've never touched Xbox myself so that's all I can think of.

Yes, I have done that. That's usually for changing my NAT type if I go over someone's house and their's is moderate or strict.
My uncle said it might be that my wireless adapter is wireless G, but my router is wireless N. Could that be the problem anyone?
Bump. Any help is appreciated.
Damn, you're gonna have a hard time if you get a Xbox One.
Brother has the same router and the black xbox and can't even connect maybe it's the router?
