• (Windows) Really creepy virus that keeps sending very sexual messages to friends

There is some kind of virus on my desktop that keeps sending very sexual messages to all my friends. If I have a chat open, it will randomly start typing and enter it. I know it's not macros saved on my keyboard, because they stopped being sent as soon as I disconnected my keyboard, and disconnected myself from the internet. Does anyone know of a good AV to help find it? I tried Malware bytes, and AVG. Neither picked it up.
Try malwarebytes anti-malware
Try malwarebytes anti-malware
I did, it didn't pick up anything.
hmm, does it happen only with one chat program?
System Restore?
hmm, does it happen only with one chat program?
Happens in everything. Even text edit. It stops if I unplug the internet. Also, I don't know if I have any restore points. I'll check later. Gonna test out APB's ability to run in Linux.
It's obviously something running in the background if it's doing something like that. Just check for any suspicious exes
It's obviously something running in the background if it's doing something like that. Just check for any suspicious exes
That will take ages... Plus, I'm not even sure what to look for.
I think someone has you hacked, and they're fucking with you.
I think someone has you hacked, and they're fucking with you.
It might be possible, I keep Teamviewer running unattended, and I keep Hamachi running. You guys think that might be it? I don't use a firewall.

Guys, I will boldly go, where no boldly man has boldly gone before. Back to windows to get rid of teamviewer and hamachi.
:buddy: yay i helped solve something!
they stopped being sent as soon as I disconnected my keyboard
Alternative solution: Unplug keyboard forever and use the on-screen keyboard until the end of time. :D
Alternative solution: Unplug keyboard forever and use the on-screen keyboard until the end of time. :D
Oh shit, I didn't mean it that way. They didn't stop when I unplugged my keyboard. If that was the case, it would be a macro or something saving and automatically starting itself. But that isn't the case. [editline]25th May 2011[/editline] Well I got rid of Hamachi and Teamviewer, no fix. I'm about to wipe the fucking drive away. Like an idiot I put the bootloader on that drive. Anybody know how to move a bootloader onto a different drive?
Try this: http://bshades.com/clean.php It's just a thought, it might be something else.
Try this: http://bshades.com/clean.php It's just a thought, it might be something else.
I'll do it tomorrow. It usually happens 30 minutes to an hour after use. I'm more tempted to just reformat. Seems less of a pain in the ass if you ask me.
you may have a custom-coded R.A.T. or something, who knows
Where in the hell would it have come from though? Pretty much all my shit was secure. The only thing I did recently was install new mouse drivers since I got an X8 yesterday.

Well, now I see... The only way to fix it, is magnets. Excuse me gentlemen, I shall return with a completely dead hard drive. In all seriousness though, I'll probably just nuke the partition.
Scan with Comodo, and later with MSE.
Too late for that, just nuked it :v:
Okay, guys, I need help here. I found out that it was I who typed those sexual messages, and my mouse has a macro function. However, they're still saved to the mouse, and activate every time I left click. Does anybody know how to clear macros on an X8 Sidewinder? v:v:v [editline]27th May 2011[/editline] Never mind, I found out how to undo macros. I got pissed earlier and thought it was my keyboard... Poor keyboard.
