I found +1000 videos on youtube about this, and this video seemed to be the most "neutral".

I wanted to know if they teach you about this stuff in the school or if you ever talk about the rest of the world hating you, terrorism happening and so on and so on... How about the Vietnam war and the rest?
What are your opinions?
The world hates america because they think they are superior to everyone (Most of the americans i've met do), and they have to get their fucking noses wet in every single god damn country's bussiness.
There is why I hate america.
[editline]30th August 2011[/editline]
I mean seriously, they act like they're the fucking police of the world. Big country with lots of monies or not, they should stay out of other countries bussiness
Because our government is full of liberal fucks that decide everything happening in the world is their business. Also most of the people here are complete douches.
The world hates America because America hates the world.
all the other countries are jealous of our american muscles
Hate the government, not the people. All I can say.
Because its the largest superpower on earth and the people within its borders are quite well off.
I don't think the world hates the U.S as much as they hate the more republican states/bible belt area (Texas, Mississippi)

the world hates rednecks?
Because they think they are the best at everything
all the other countries are jealous of our american muscles
My point proven
snipped this for some reason
Well off in comparison to many other nations. (For the time being.)

Your joke detectors need re-calibrating.
We don't really learn much about anything outside of America in public education. Most of our history lessons revolve around the Revolutionary War and the Civil War. While I was in school WWI & WWII were barely touched on at all and the Vietnam War wasn't even talked about. I don't recall learning about any other countries or anything of that sort. Hell, beyond some early wars, we didn't even really learn much about our own country.
And we Americans aren't all bad, really. The assholes, douchebags, and folk who think themselves superior to the rest is a minority. A very loud minority.
Hate the government, not the people. All I can say.
People like Da Fat Cat v3 make it hard for us to believe it's different now.
All the people who hate America have been there, experienced it first hand, saw more than one place, didn't just look at their country's media and didn't stereotype people. :downs:
I don't think people hate America as much as them hating our policies, laws, and government.
I don't hate America, but unless it concerns me I don't tend to care about what the nation does or what its people do.

You're awesome.

I think that's excusable. There's just so many states in the US alone. I do find it weird to hear you had lessons about the revolutionary war and the civil war but not everything else. That's selective education..
As for the that loud minority; just a "god bless america" on tv adds another drop to the already full bucket of anti americanism. You should understand that saying god should only bless america is quite the insult to some, and that it's a cocky thing to say.

Bush is guilty.
Clinton was a nice guy and Obama is a nice guy. (that's my opinion, but it seems to be common when you ask)
Bush the younger and his henchmen ruined everything and Obama stepped into shoes full of Iranian shit. Ironically average american citizens are now blaming Obama and liberals for earlier, shitty goverment´s mistakes which I find incredibly funny and sad.
After WW2 we became too much of a presence in other parts of the world through military bases and spread of culture which was made worse by Korea and Vietnam. They see us as a foreign power with too much influence where it doesn't belong.
This reminds me, when the hurricane Irene approached USA, the EU media was very hyped and everyone were talking about it very positively. It made me sick

You can blame old, rich, white, christian families for adding God Bless America to everything. Interestingly enough I rarely see or hear God Bless America anywhere save for the news when there's some stupid Tea Party Member or hardcore idiot conservative blabbering.

While that's probably true, the whole God Bless America, One Nation Under God etc. was all a response to the red scare of the 50s, if it were up to secularists we'd have gotten rid of that stuff by now.
The video looks like it's dedicated to hating CIA.

I'm decently sure the average American is as well, I've never heard a good word spoken towards those maniacs.

I bet bush had a lot to do with us being hated.

Funny, I just read about that 30 minutes ago somewhere else.
I think the main reasons people hate Americans are (this is opinion obviously):
1. Americans are stereotyped as loud, obnoxious, selfish, and wasteful, which is certainly worse than many other national stereotypes. (British people have superridiculouslyterribadchocolatelycoatedterrible teeth. Oh my goodness, British people are so horrible and greedy. :downs:)
2. The US is a world superpower. Jealousy. This also sort of applies to people dissing China, but that's another story.
3. By extension, the US has many enemies, direct (The Taliban) or indirect (China, Russia, Iran, etc.) who wish to slander the US.
4. Our politicians tend to be widely known and their blunders are widely publicized.
5. The US sticks its nose into foreign politics more than a little bit, and, more often than not, this has been bad (Agent Orange anyone?).
6. The US has a very large population (3rd in the world if I recall correctly). What I like to call the "law of averages" applies here - the more people you have, the exponentially more dumb/average people you will have.
7. The US is hypocritical (as somewhat fallaciously pointed out by Osama) in that it is called "the land of the free" but the people aren't completely free. Then again, if they were, we'd have either anarchy or direct democracy, the former of which is dangerous and lawless and the latter of which is very slow and impractical, especially given that the average person is mostly ignorant to public affairs of the political variety.
8. Other nations think that we think we're superior to everyone else.
