They shouldn't have marketed the game so hard before it had a real name, now NCG is engraved in my mind as the title of this game and I don't think it will shake it for a long while.
Somehow "Wreckfest" sounds more generic than "Next Car Game" to me.

Judging by how the Steam page is now handled, it looks like they are retaining "Bugbear's Next Car Game" in small text above the Wreckfest title and it is listed as Next Car Game: Wreckfest on Steam, so it will still be keeping it's old name in a way it seems.

i gotta agree, the previous title while literally self descriptive is what initially brought my interest into the game. Now with 'wreckfest' i'd just sort of lob it in with titles like flatout at first before thinking about it.

Also this was a good patch. The last patch felt like the worst so far. But this is better.
Notably, I died within 10 seconds of the race start when 4 computer cars rammed me into a hard pole. My car got total-annihilated and game over for me. :v: And in general, cars seem to take more damage, and sometimes take off spinning and flying when crashing, which is rad. Especially in the Oval Speedway.
I still wished they were slightly lighter, or more easily prone to just flying off spinning when tackled in a funny angle etc. And more loose shit coming off the cars!

It's like Fuck Shit Up except you're limited to car destruction.
