• Muffled left channel when using headphones on Sylvania TV?

I have a 22" Sylvania LCD TV, and when I try to use the headphone jack the left side is always either not there or very muffled (only hear bass, very little else), I can only get it to work if I fiddle with the plug for a while then it'll sound fine but having to mess with the plug every time is very annoying. I'm gonna assume it's something on the inside of the TV because this happens with any pair of headphones, so I'm guessing there aren't many fixes for it but I could be wrong. If it matters I use Turtle Beach X12 headphones and the TV's model number is LC220SL1. Thanks in advance
So your headphones work on another device 100% fine? If so, then yes its your TV's output jack, and will need a replacement. If your TV is in warranty, it will be free to fix but will be a hassle because you will need to send it back to the manufacturers. If it is such a big problem, perhaps its time to buy a new TV. Buy an LED TV not an LCD, and maybe not a cheap Sylvania TV. Go for a Sony and something.
