Is it possible to get the end of the ethernet cable off and reuse it or would i have to get another plastic bit and feed the wires through? (the one on the left with 8 wires)
Ok thanks i'll try to find a guide or something
when you crimp rj45 there's really not a way to just take it off and reuse it...
just go pick up a box of rj45, their cheap...
A word of advice though, crimping RJ45's, it is a pain in the fucking ass and you will mess up a bunch of times.
Ok, i think i have a load lying around somewhere, when we first moved into the house i know my dad feeded the cable through my room to the room downstairs and put the the RJ on it so i think ill just take it apart and re-crimp a new one on to it

I've never had a problem with proper crimping tools and when you use the proper parts. Once you crimp a connector it pushes the pins down, so I don't see how you could reuse them.
