Not true. The zone will be permanent. The story missions can be purchased with gems later, yes, but all it takes is a single log-in during the 2-week period to unlock those missions for free and forever.

I hope this season has some longer content.
Something that can hold me longer than a couple hours every 2 weeks would be nice.
