So I've been trying to sort out the games seemingly unfixable sound issues, and nothing I've tried so far has seemed to work. The main fix that I've tried is an .ini rework, but while it worked not long ago it's since decided to stop. The only other fix that seems to of 'worked' was setting my headset (Logitech G430) to Dolby 7.1 Surround but while that fixed the general movement stutter when moving in certain directions it caused issue with the music volume fading in and out and certain audio artifacting. The only other 'fix' I found was taking the audio jack out of the USB power thing the headset came with and putting them straight into the onboard jacks, then switching to Stereo. Any other thoughts as to how to fix this?
This is the exact reason headsets with build in soundcards suck. What are the issues you are having anyway?
it would help if we had some idea of what your sound issues were to begin with record a minute or two (use OBS if you don't already have a working game recorder) and put it on YouTube or something, then post it here
I'll try get that done soon, but in an attempt to describe the issue: With the headsets 7.1 functionality turned on the game's soundtrack seems to fade in and out alongside certain audio catches. With the headsets 7.1 turned off its audio stuttering in any diagonal direction with attacks and movement sounds. From what I've looked at it's attributed to Surround, but the headset can't use stereo unless you use default jacks which I'd rather not do since I know I've fixed this before with those ini prompts.

It's already on unfortunately. [editline]5th July 2015[/editline] Well this is a little embarassing. I did a little research and turns out this and similar issues are entirely Logitech's fault and their software. I downgraded and now it's gone (hopefully.) Thanks anyway for the help though! :)

Just get a good normal headphone (Audio Technika, Grado, Sennheiser, AKG, Whatever) And a seperate mic. They are way cheaper, and sound alot better. Or if you really need a headset a Sennheiser.

I have to re end the TRS jack on my 429s. But I got those headphones about 4 years ago. My 202's are from 2005, and they're still going strong. The headband, not so much... but the cups will stay attached if you keep it on your head. :)
