Is it worth a try? I heard the launch game was a bit meh.
It's a lot better now imo. I'd say at least give it a chance because it's free right now, if you can download it in time.

I'd grab some friends, it's still pretty rocky solo if you're expecting something similar to main series titles
As I said in another thread, it's no where near that garbage from Beta, and the mods that can add things like a Minimap, quest tracker, gridded inventory, better crafting menus and more informative maps really makes it a proper MMO that doesn't feel like a more flimsy Skyrim
Also, with PvP battlegrounds that don't allow champion points anymore, it's a lot of fun
