I've been using DOSBox for a long time, and I've had little to no problems. However, today I started it up, trying to mount a game and had a very strange problem. I was able to mount the game, but as soon as I tried to type something the W and S keys acted the same as the up arrow key, cycling through previous commands I had typed. Naturally, I checked the keymapper to see if W and S were bound to anything else, but they were only bound to their respective defaults (W and S). The odd thing is, typing W and S randomly works as it should, and other times functions as the up arrow key. What's going on here?
Have you tried reinstalling it?

Yeah 2 times. First without a restart and second with. Same result both times. I've even tried mounting different games on different drives/directories and it does the same thing. I made this GIF to show what I mean:
After I mount ultima, I can type Ultima, but as soon as I hit the W key, it starts scrolling to previous commands untill it gets to the beginning, THEN I can type w
This doesn't affect launching Ultima, but games that use DOS4GW are obviously affected, because I can't type the last W to start it.
