• Upgrading to a GTX 970 and have a few questions.

So I'm looking to upgrade my PC and I've recently been looking at the GTX 970, it beats out the GTX 780ti (according to hwcompare) by quite a bit and I'm wondering why it's nearly half the price? Is there some downside to it I've never seen before? Also, if I were to get the GTX 970 would it fit in my case? I've got this case and this motherboard. also wondering, would there be a bottleneck? I've got 8gb of ram and this cpu. Thank you for your help, I just don't want to spend all this dosh and have it not work :v:
there's no bottleneck and it'll fit in your case 780ti was a flagship gpu which is why it's still kinda pricey, 970 isn't flagship
I think you might be able to delay the upgrade, unless you plan on upgrading resolution. The 770 and the 780 are still doing pretty well
