"Leaderhip?" I didn't know being a leader took such a toll on your hips.
Honestly that game had way too many things wrong with it to be attributed to any single development issue, especially the lead developer's leg joints.
Arthritis is the number one threat to game development this era.
If EA was in touch at all with its players, they'd realize nobody cares about this modern military shooter MOH bullshit and revert the series back to what made it great
I'll never understand why they thought a modern day MOH would work in the first place

Probably the majority of the gaming community having a cry a few years back about the huge amounts of WWII games

Well probably the fact that modern day Battlefield and Call of Duty titles sold a shitzillion copies.
The company places the blames squarely on its shoulders, saying that leadership was at issue, not a glut of World War II games.
Uhh what year is Shacknews in right now?

Because as we all know, shooters set in a modern military setting just don't sell well anymore...

Problem is, there's nothing unique about Warfighter. Like, at all. There's basically two main audiences for modern war shooters out there: The CoD audience, and the BF audience. The former already gets annual releases for the franchise they like, and each one is basically just the same game with a few new gimmicks and visuals (Which is also all that's different between Warfighter and most CoD games), so they mostly don't give a shit about Warfighter. And if the BF audience prefers Battlefield anyways, why would they even bother playing another bloody CoD clone? Because it uses the Frostbite engine and Battlelog? Sorry, that just doesn't just magically make them interested in it.
This game was pretty much screwed from the start, why they chose to dump so much money into its development (Or insist on blaming any one person or group of people for its failure), I'll never know.
