My PC has been running incredibly slow lately and games that shouldn't be issues like League of Legends tank down to 10 fps during gameplay for no apparent reason. Massive chunks of my 8gb of ram are going missing and the computer's just overall too slow. The RAM usage goes from 10% to 30/40% on a completely idle computer for no reason. I'm planning on cleaning the inside soon but considering this issue has basically popped up in a single day and didn't appear over time I want to make sure it's not some shitty virus installed somewhere. MSE hasn't detected anything but I'd like to take another sweep with some other software to make sure. Anyone got a good software to recommend ?

Combofix, adwcleaner, and malware bytes should take care of most issues. Run all 3, and look for any fishy programs. Uninstall them with Revo uninstaller.
Ran malware bytes, found a bitcoin miner (probably the one installed by uTorrent). After I removed it, gaming performance went through the roof. Thanks
One more tip: I use Autoruns to keep an eye on what boots up with the computer. It's great because it's simple to use, you uncheck boxes but you don't have to uninstall anything, so you can test things and easily put it back the way it was. It's a good way to see what truly is on your system too, since even if something isn't obvious, it'll show up on Autoruns' list. Remember, Autoruns shows you what boots up with Windows, it won't show you what is installed and runs AFTER boot up. That's a separate thing you need other tools, like Malwarebytes, to check.
