It's too bad they made everything else shit. The game has good looking graphics for an MMO, and it seems to have good qualities to it, but the gameplay and the absurd amount of hours required to get to the top level, and for it to be lacking content? A lot of people I know that played the beta aren't getting the full game. I can see this going F2P easily.
Nice wordplay.
Every time I see The Elder Scrolls Online I just wish we could've gotten a new Elder Scrolls game that wasn't this and instead singleplayer based like before, but with coop support like everyone wanted.

Maybe if it were just buy to play and like, $40 I might be tempted. But never with a subscription fee.
It sounds like they don't know how MMOs work with how they talk about how you'll 'discover' this place and you'll find a crafter willing to go there and make it for you... I dunno, I think someone will just tell you about the best item set for your character and then you'll find a crafter who is selling that set. I think that feature would work great in a single player game... But in an MMO, it's one of those things you'll just look up on the wiki.

Either way, the crafting systems I've used have been pretty simple so far but really useful - and there's a shit a good variety of really useful traits you can add to gear when making it even with just blacksmithing (like increased experience gain when wearing)
Every time I see The Elder Scrolls Online I just wish we could've gotten a new Elder Scrolls game that wasn't this and instead singleplayer based like before, but with coop support like everyone wanted.
Everyone wanted that pretty much but Bethesda wouldn't deviate from their single player game making schedule and they weren't going to have another studio make a normal TES game with co-op so an MMO is what we got. It's still fun though as far as I've played and hopefully they'll improve it more post-launch. Our best chance for multiplayer in a proper TES game is probably OpenMW, due to the whole source code access bit

I've been meaning to finish off morrowind but the fps hit from MGO slowly chips away at motivation.

Definitely haven't gotten any fps hits from MGO but my laptop is pretty solid I guess
