At this point we've said everything there is to say about DmC. Lets just leave this thread at this.

You mean we've said all there is to say about Devil may Cry Devil May Cry, right?
I might get this once it's on sale. I despise the story and writing but the gameplay is pretty fun apparently (although I've seen how OP perfect evade can be).
I'll always be a fan of the original DMC series, but this is actually pretty good. Don't let the new looks throw you off.
I picked it up. I haven't really played the originals a lot so I'm hoping I'll enjoy it. I got the Complete Pack though, since I do want to try to play 3 at least once. I've tried 4, but it wasn't the best game in the world but this one looked more interesting from reviews.
I heard this one is pretty solid and nice as it starts. But ass you progress, it restricts the combat more and strays even farther from the original DMC style.
Plus bosses have been super casualized.
I played a few DmCs and this one is pretty good, the hardcore fans are perhaps butthurt but I liked the changes. The only thing is that the new Dante is really a douche and the game has pretty bad dialogue but it's DmC afterall.

Are you sure you played the origional Devil May Cry games? Because I don't believe you.
I've heard it's pretty solid, actually. Not to mention it runs on like every PC ever. People have been reporting 200+ FPS on really high end machines.
But its locked at 30 fps.

The game is just so simple, unbalanced and glitched it's not even worth playing it. Might as well finish all the previous games at 100%, you'll get more fun out of it.
Ill buy it once it goes £10
the game would be like 1/3 as long if there were no cutscenes
Who the hell decided it should be called DMC: Devil May Cry? WHY NOT JUST DEVIL MAY CRY 567or8

I dunno how many dmcs there are
this is awesome watching a friend play it atm

Really? I don't seem to notice it, and it usually drives me crazy. I don't think the PC version is, unless I'm just not seeing it.
Yeah, no. Theory disproven:

I don't get why you guys bitch about it so much. Yes, the writing can be improved (A LOT), but it's suppose to be a reboot in a different dimension, so I wouldn't expect the main character to still act like the main character.
Also the soundtrack is fucking sweet

No it isn't, they specifically said before launch that the PC version would have no framerate lock.

Honestly it's usually more industrial/metal sounding than dubstep, the only dubstep I have heard thus far is that Succubus fight, that was shown before.
Combat's nowhere near as intricate as DMC3 and 4, and the characters are kind of bad, along with the writing, but as a game it's quite fun. w
